The Schoolwear Show Logo

The Schoolwear Show is the premier event on the schoolwear industry’s calendar, serving as a vital meeting point for retailers, suppliers and industry professionals. As well as providing a platform for independent schoolwear retailers to meet with suppliers, peers and experts within the industry, the event’s product showcase allows attendees to explore new collections, ranges, fabrics and designs. The show also serves as a valuable source of education and inspiration, enabling visitors to stay informed about the latest industry trends, regulations and business strategies, and to gather innovative ideas for their stores to maintain a competitive edge. Ahead of this year’s show, CWB gains insight into what’s in store for 2025.

CWB: Cranmore Park, the show’s venue, has updated its stand build since last year’s Schoolwear Show. What can exhibitors and visitors expect from the new look?

The Schoolwear Show: This year, visitors and exhibitors will notice a fresh new look at Cranmore Park. The venue has undergone a significant update to its stand build, offering a more modern, open and accessible layout. The redesign enhances visibility for exhibitors and improves the overall visitor flow, making it easier to navigate the show and engage with brands.

CWB: In terms of the exhibitor lineup, are there any new signings to watch out for?

TSS: The 2025 lineup includes a mix of returning favourites and some new faces. We have seen particular interest from shoe brands this year; they are seeking out new markets and are looking to reach new retailers that are also considering diversifying into other areas.

CWB: What do you foresee the key themes and topics will be at the 2025 show?

TSS: Clearly, the new legislation around school uniform, which is expected to come into force for summer 2026, will be a significant backdrop to this year’s show as both suppliers and retailers look to adapt to change.

CWB: Will the seminar programme be returning, and if so, who is it tailored to and what areas will it cover?

TSS: Yes, the seminars will be back and will be better than ever. The programme will be tailored to independent retailers, schoolwear suppliers and industry professionals, and the sessions will cover a range of topics that will be announced nearer the time. Expect expert speakers and panel discussions that offer practical insights and inspiration.

CWB: Will there be any opportunity for visitors and exhibitors to socialise and network?

TSS: The show isn’t just about business – it’s also about building community. There is likely to be dedicated networking around the seminars, giving attendees the chance to connect, share ideas and forge new partnerships in a relaxed setting.

CWB: How will the Schoolwear Association be involved in this year’s show?

TSS: As always, the Schoolwear Association (SA) will play a pivotal role in the event. The show will be a platform for the SA to engage with members, promote industry standards and advocate for the value of specialist schoolwear retailers.

CWB: From your perspective, why is a visit to The Schoolwear Show essential for those involved in the school uniform industry?

TSS: For anyone in the schoolwear industry, The Schoolwear Show is an unmissable event. It’s the only UK exhibition dedicated solely to this sector, offering unparalleled access to suppliers, new products and industry insights. Whether you’re looking to source new stock, stay ahead of trends or connect with peers, this is the place to be.

CWB: Where can suppliers and retailers find more information about the show?

TSS: Suppliers can visit the show’s website to enquire about stand availability, and visitors can also register online through the same site to secure their place at the show, which takes place from Sunday 12 October to Monday 13 October 2025 at Cranmore Park, Solihull.
