Following its successful UK launch last year, The Singing Ant team is now developing its high-quality playmat options for the British Market. Further building on the innovative and unisex playmats, the new Hygge collection incorporates the brand’s Scandinavian-inspired style with the practicalities needed for play.

The new limited-edition collection captures the essence of the modern nursery. Available in four natural tones, the playmats feature a soft, quilted pattern with a low allergy risk, vegan leather surface. They are also CE-certified and additionally third-party verified to ensure they meet and exceed all EU regulations for Toy Standards (EN-71) and are REACH compliant.

Further to this, due to their water-resistant nature, the playmats are wipe-clean.

This means that the lightweight mat is also ideal for use as a sensory mat for messy play. Alternatively, tucking it under a child’s highchair avoids mess during the early-weaning phase.

Commenting is The Singing Ant’s founder, Nicole Eissele. “We are so pleased to be able to expand our playmat range and introduce the Hygge collection to the UK. It is so important to us to create a playmat that not only looks great but that parents can also rely on.

“Parenthood requires practicality, but it definitely does not need to sacrifice beauty. We are always looking to marry these two areas. By creating a collection of vegan leather, super soft, wipe-clean playmats, we really believe we have found the answer. We just know families in the UK will love the designs. We cannot wait to see them become part of the family home.”
