Four children walking up a hill wearing outerwear and hats by Isbjorn of Sweden

In new independent research undertaken by Tradera, Sweden’s largest circular online marketplace, sustainable outdoor kidswear brand Isbjörn of Sweden comes out on top for second-hand value in the circular marketplace.

Tradera looked into the number of online searches, items sold, average prices, and sales rate, to compile a list of clothing brands that have proven their worth on the second-hand market. Isbjörn topped both the ‘highest sell-through’ and ‘highest average price point’ categories.

Commenting is Maria Frykman, founder and CEO of Isbjörn of Sweden. “Sustainability has been part of our DNA since our inception in 2005 and forms the foundation of our brand. Being recognized as one of Sweden’s most popular children’s clothing brands in the second-hand market and topping the list for sell-through rate and average price at Tradera.com is a fantastic testament to our long-term commitment to sustainability and quality.”

Isbjörn’s DNA has always focused on making technical, fit-for-purpose and sustainable outerwear for children and teenagers.

Design highlights include the addition of ‘grow cuffs’ to the arms and legs of all the brand’s hardshell and padded products, which add a further 3cm in length to grow with the child. There are also name tags for at least three owners in each garment.

“We believe true sustainability is not just about producing environmentally friendly garments, but also about creating products durable enough to be passed down and appreciated by multiple families,” continues  Frykman.

“This acknowledgement from Tradera confirms our dedication to the circular business model, where each garment from us tells a story of responsible consumption, environmental stewardship, and children’s natural joy of being outdoors in clothes that deliver what they promise. We are honoured to be part of a movement that promotes conscious consumption and contributes positively to the future of the industry.”
