Ububba is a newly launched marketplace for affordable, trend-driven and widely sustainable baby and children’s goods that simplify parenthood.
Founded on one expectant mother’s struggle to find these items for her baby, Ububba began with one goal in mind; to provide parents with the opportunity to easily explore a highly curated marketplace of baby and kids’ goods.
Co-founder Esther Chang’s Korean heritage is the inspiration for the business.
Chang wanted to “break the uniformity found in the current baby and children’s brand space”; providing a platform that allows parents to embrace the global adoption of Korean culture. Ububba, therefore, enables customers to tap into a wide range of sought-after Korean baby fashion and accessories.
Chang and her husband wanted to create a bridge between Korea’s small businesses and the US consumer. While some brands are familiar, and not all are out of Korea, the marketplace essentially embodies the ‘K-baby’ philosophy, prioritising design, sustainability and accessibility.
Ububba’s purpose is to inspire discovery.
With almost 50 brands available, Ububba covers a wide range of price points and product. From hand-painted, wooden musical instruments to non-silicone snack cups and recycled organic sunglasses.
Furthermore, all purchases via the marketplace help to end childhood hunger through its partnership with Children’s Hunger Fund (CHF). Ububba will, therefore, donate a portion of all sales to CHF, the non-profit organisation that provides meals to children in need.
