Children's wooden toys displayed in sand

Launched online this month, design-led children’s concept store, The Mini Curator, was born from a simple idea: that objects made for children can be both meaningful to play with and thoughtfully designed. As a parent with a love for design, owner Gabriele Zostaute often found children’s products falling into two extremes – either beautifully styled but impractical, or functional but lacking character.

The Mini Curator is set to bring these two worlds together. Shaped by the perspective of a mother and daughter – one drawn to design, the other led by play – the store offers a selection of toys, play objects and gifts, with a focus on open-ended play, natural materials and timeless design.

The launch assortment includes brands such as Grapat, Olli Ella, Londji, Wooden Story, Ratatam, We Are Gommu, Goober and Jack Be Nimble, alongside other European brands known for their craftsmanship, sustainable materials and thoughtful approach to play.
