In a significant move marking one year since its relaunch under new family ownership, Whirli, the innovative toy swap subscription service, has launched a Customer Refund Programme to underline its commitment to customer satisfaction.

The new Customer Refund Programme invites past subscribers to rejoin the Whirli community under new management and is designed to provide credit for previously lost subscription fees due to challenges encountered in the previous year. The initiative underscores Whirli’s strong commitment to supporting its customers, with the brand pledging up to £1,158,211 in customer credits.

Eligible customers will soon receive a custom notification outlining their credit allocation.

This offer ensures a minimum of 53% credit based on their previous package, with some customers potentially eligible for up to 100% credit to recover losses incurred during the administration period.

Under the leadership of sisters Sanam and Iram Saghir, Whirli is focused on enhancing the customer experience and reinstating confidence amongst its users. The Saghir sisters have been instrumental in the successful relocation of thousands of toys to a new facility and are striving to reinforce a robust relationship with the Whirli community.

“Now we are a year on since the takeover, we are pleased to be able to fulfil our promise to previous customers who lost money for their subscription fees,” says Sanam Saghir, MD of Whirli. “We invite anyone that was affected by the administration to get in touch via our website so we can work on a solution to compensate them through our Customer Refund Programme.”

Whirli’s subscription model offers monthly, quarterly, bi-annual or annual plans in exchange for tokens redeemable for toys.

It provides affordability and flexibility for parents to borrow and return toys as their child grows. In the last year, Whirli has also broadened its range to include premium toy brands and baby equipment, and has formed a partnership with Twinkl to offer educational resources for parents.

As an exclusive approved rental partner for esteemed brands such as Leclerc, Stokke and Cybex, Whirli continues its commitment to sustainability, aiming to reduce waste from packaging and disposal as children outgrow toys.
