London-based men’s and kids’ swimwear brand, Boardies®, has a new collaboration with responsible fashion brand RAEBURN. The collection celebrates both brands’ love of the ocean and its biodiversity.
The collection, which comprises men’s and kids’ swim shorts and Hawaiian shirts, sees a marriage of Boardies® swimwear expertise and RAEBURN’s distinctive designs. The shorts are made from a reclaimed fibre that comes from 100% plastic bottles. They are also mesh-lined and feature a drawstring waist and side pockets.
The shirts, meanwhile, are lightweight and breathable and use 100% Tencel. Other features include natural corozo nut buttons and biodegradable details.
All the garments in the range feature the RAEBURN “School of Sharks” print.
“It’s great to collaborate with RAEBURN, a like-minded local brand with shared values,” says Nick Crook, founder of Boardies®. “We at Boardies® are constantly striving to improve our environmental credentials and reduce our impact on the planet by working with innovative sustainable fabrics and materials. RAEBURN are pioneers in this area and Christopher has been a leader since graduating from London’s Royal College of Art over 14 years ago.”
Furthermore, Boardies® will donate 10% of the profits of all sales of this collection to the WWF. For further information on the brand, please click here.
