A child stood on a beach holding a wooden pole and wearing a top and dungarees by Turtledove London

Wild Wonder is the title of Turtledove London’s a/w 24 collection inspired by the beauty of uncultivated land where wild animals roam free: a perfectly balanced ecosystem where no species is endangered, a place of peace.

Key messages are found as motifs and prints in this collection for 0-8 years. New colour pops include moss, glade and amber from the ground, alongside shadow and dusk from the skies. A natural palette complements previous seasons’ pieces, maximising their longevity for both sellers and buyers.

Characters focus on animals running free with no expectations or restrictions. Animal skin patterns are borrowed from zebras and ponies, with their hoof prints captured as roaming patterns across the collection.

A mountain bear’s habitat is celebrated in a new Mountain Scenes print, while the Celestial Skies print showcases the sun and moon shared with other planets in the solar system.

Texture is key for Turtledove London this season.

Expect cosy eco fur and velour as trims, and garments reflecting animal pelts and warm hides. Cord also moves into both printed options and plains. Elsewhere, texture is echoed in animal appliques in garments and trims throughout the collection, including fringed details depicting wild manes.

The Forever Loved collection also continues, featuring bestsellers to be worn through the seasons. A true reflection of slow fashion credentials, these pieces work layered up with new designs, too.

New garment types, meanwhile, include gilets and ponchos for in-season layering. Plus, wide-leg cropped joggers which work equally well with winter boots as summer sandals. Designs have been carefully considered to work as shorter styles when a child grows taller, including dresses, skirts and adjustable strap dungarees. The brand is also launching its first knitwear designs in organic cotton yarns.
