Sustainable children’s fashion brand Kin & Cloth is running a series of free fashion and design workshops in Camden this May for young people aged 11-18. The aim of the brand’s founder, Jasmine King, is to make the creative industries more accessible to the next generation.

With over 20 years’ experience across both luxury and high street, King has a strong technical foundation coupled with a focus on thoughtful design, longevity, and a more conscious approach to fashion. At Kin & Cloth, that translates into small-batch, UK-produced collections using responsibly sourced and recycled fabrics, designed to be worn, loved and passed on.

After hosting workshops in other parts of London, King is bringing the next series to Camden. Taking place at the Euston Skills Centre on 19-20 May, the workshops will give local young people hands-on access to fashion design, sustainable making skills, and creative self-expression, in a supportive community environment.

At a time when conversations around youth provision, community and access to opportunity continue to be important across London, King is passionate about creating positive spaces rooted in creativity, confidence and connection for young people locally. The initiative is also taking part in the national ‘A Million Acts of Hope’ campaign, which celebrates acts of kindness, care and community happening across the UK.
