Amongst The Childrenswear Association’s newest members is Surrey-based Awesome Blossom, which offers children’s pyjama sets ethically made in Jaipur, India.
The brand’s fabrics are printed using a traditional technique called block printing, which involves stamping designs onto fabric by hand using intricately carved wooden blocks.
Block printing by hand is a slow process. It can take five carvers up to three days to create a pattern in a printing block. However, it is capable of yielding highly artistic results, some of which are unobtainable by any other method.
Ideal for gifting, each Awesome Blossom pyjama set is presented in a matching textile bag. For further information, click here to visit Awesome Blossom’s member page on The Childrenswear Association’s website.
