New Zealand-based children’s footwear brand, Bobux, is launching its new Dare To Roam collection for s/s 23. The offer of podiatrist-approved shoes includes five feature stories, each with a unique destination to explore.
Dare To Roam is an invitation for adventure with a focus on styling, fresh colourways and details inspired by nature. The concept stems from the brand’s natural movement foot-health philosophy; enabling natural foot movement that allows feet to move, breathe and develop as nature intended. Bobux supports this philosophy by ensuring ample space for toes to grip and stretch.
Bobux also designs shoes for stage, not age, to ensure the shoe is specifically functional for how a growing child will wear it. Flexibility, Adjustability, Breathability, Weight, Durability and Fit are the six key elements that Bobux has identified that help deliver comfort essential for all kids’ shoes.
Five feature stories
Sunday Morning is the first story to be released. It embraces slow starts, beginning the adventure at home, and comprises Bobux’s most comfortable styles re-engineered in calming, earthy hues in soft leathers set upon a street-inspired off-white sole.
The Hinterland story draws on nostalgic fairytales and rustic colours with footwear including new textural features. Forever Fields offers a 70s vibe, with unique detailing in embossed finishes, gentle golds and vibrant lilacs. Kinetic Grove, meanwhile, celebrates motion and movement. Innovation is at the heart of this story, with shoes designed to empower active, progressing movement.
