For over 30 years, Bobux has been committed to comfort and innovation, and 2022 is no different. The brand’s innovative new Kid+ sole and last is finally here alongside luxurious leathers that are as soft yet hard-wearing as ever. Plus, there is a new spectrum of colourways, from pared-back neutrals to vivid brights and luxe metallics.

After two years of testing and a successful roll-out in the UK, Bobux’s new and improved Kid+ last and sole is here for 2022. Rubber was selected for the sole material for its durability. The sole thickness was also reduced to just 4mm for a lighter weight and optimal flex whilst still retaining the same natural movement.

Visually, the sole appears leaner. This is due to its rounded, proportioned edges, which take out the chunkiness of current Kid+ soles. Tested and approved by kids, the soles – as with all Bobux innovations − were designed with foot health in mind.

 

 

New and updated styles for 2022

Open-toe sandals

Within the brand’s range of open-toe sandals, new and updated styles include Gem. This style features an adjustable glitter strap across the toe, while the ankle strap adds extra adjustability. It also has a padded collar and leather lining for comfort.

Magic is completely openable and adjustable while providing plenty of breathability. It has a crossover toe and ankle strap, with multi leather detailing across the toe. Rise is also completely openable for ease of fit, with double strap fastening for adjustability across the toe and ankle. With a padded collar for comfort, extra special detailing is added with coloured tags at the heel and strap ends. Crafted with a fast-drying, Quickdry™ leather upper, Rise is also suitable for light water play.

Mirror sandals are cut from premium, fast-drying leather and are available in two colour edits. With fully openable fastenings, this style is easy to get on, and the open-toe design provides breathability. Minimal detail ensures these sandals are perfect for stylish summer fun.

 

 

Closed-toe sandals

The Twist sandal is a closed-toe sandal ready for play. With a water-friendly, Quickdry™ leather upper, these sandals are less absorbent and dry quickly. The closed-toe design adds protection, while a peep toe cut out provides breathability.

Zap II boasts an ultra-flexible construction for confident walkers. It features an unlined, fast-drying leather upper and a lined and padded heel for optimal comfort. Meanwhile, Tidal features a water-friendly leather upper that is less absorbent and dries quickly after exposure to water. A closed-toe design protects little toes while cut-outs provide breathability.

Roam has a closed toe with open sides to provide airflow and breathability. In a range of classic colourways, this sandal makes an elegant addition to any outfit – from school uniforms to children’s Sunday best. The Roam sandal boasts an ankle strap fastening for a secure, adjustable fit and Bobux’s signature brass icon stud adds sophistication.

 

 

Trainers

Grass Court is a street-styled trainer for everyday wear. Highlights include premium matte-finish leather, while bright colours complete a playful look. Multi-strap fastenings are adjustable, easy to use and on-trend. Featuring the BBX B-SWIFT™ sole for Kid+, it is available in vibrant new colours.

The Bobux Seedling is the brand’s environmentally-minded shoe made with natural textiles. Using naturally soft fabric knits, this shoe is lightweight, breathable, durable and designed to support free movement. A flecked gum sole using natural and recycled rubber also offers an easy match for any outfit.

The new Dimension III is a highly flexible performance shoe with an ultra-lightweight, durable sole. The twinface 100% recycled polyester knit lets kids’ feet breathe comfortably. Plus, a stretch opening allows for easy on. Refined embossing across the hook-and-loop strap adds sophistication and keeps feet secure, while a leather exoskeleton makes these shoes ready for play.

Finally, there is the Riley Summer Edition leather trainer. Riley is an understated classic with a contrast heel tab and racing stripe. Features include double strap closures, perforated detailing for breathability, and the BBX B-SWIFT™ sole for Kid+.
