This summer, the design team for the modern maternity collection Frugi Bloom is drawing on nostalgia by journaling a rainbow road trip right on its own Cornish doorstep. Like many, the team has stayed closer to home this year, exploring the local coast for inspiration for the s/s 22 trends.

Reflecting the beautiful surroundings, the Frugi Bloom collection brings out the joy of the Cornish landscapes. The s/s 22 edit draws on flowers found in hedgerows and moments of fun captured with friends. Meanwhile, new shapes and embroidered details look to vintage pieces for inspiration.

 

 

Planet Friendly

Frugi is working with the charity Plant One, which plants one tree in Cornwall for every single trade order. Plant One is a volunteer-run organisation passionate about planting trees in Cornwall. It works with local landowners to restore woodland and natural habitats for wildlife and people to enjoy.

Commenting is European business director, Simon Dowling. “Because Plant One’s ethos is closely aligned with our own, we are excited to offer our trade customers the ability to plant a tree with their seasonal order to help create a healthy environment both for wildlife and for future generations.”

Frugi also donates 1% of turnover to charity each year with its ‘Little Clothes, Big Change’ project. The initiative strives to make a difference in the lives of little ones by inspiring the next generation of eco-heroes to help save our planet. Since launching in 2004, £850,000 has been donated to various charities.
