Launched at the end of 2019 and inspired by adventure, Australian brand The Summer Chaser set out to create a line of towels that would decrease travellers’ impact on the environment.

Made ethically in China out of OEKO-TEX 100 and GRS-certified fabric from recycled plastic bottles, the towels are sand-resistant, highly absorbent, quick-drying and easy to carry; making them a versatile accessory for the beach, pool, sports and outdoor activities.

The Summer Chaser has since expanded its range with Children and Baby categories, gaining popularity in Australia, the UK and the US. The junior size towel, which packs down small and comes with a matching backpack, measures 140cm x 76cm. The baby hooded towel, meanwhile, measures 76cm x 76cm and features a generous and comfortable corner hoodie.

 

 

The range currently includes full-sized, junior as well as baby hooded towels.

Based in Melbourne, The Summer Chaser works to educate more people on plastic pollution. Its aim is to show that every person can make a small step towards a cleaner planet by purchasing a better product without sacrificing colour, fun and style.

 

 

The brand’s mission is to reduce the impact of plastic waste on our planet. It does this by making the most out of the resources we already have. For this reason, the towels use GRS-certified post-consumer recycled plastic waste.
