New sustainable kids’ clothing start-up Kookoo But Kind is continuing its partnership with John Lewis’ Great British Pop Up. Throughout August, the childrenswear brand will showcase its new eye-catching, gender-neutral Be Kind and Endangered 2021 collections. The offer includes a range of upcycled jackets as well as T-shirts, sweaters and accessories.

Knowing kids’ clothing can inspire good as well as looking good, the brand’s hand-drawn illustrations gently raise awareness of global challenges. For instance, waste, racial equality and endangered animals. Kookoo But Kind wants parents and kids to feel good about engaging positively with challenges like clean air and animal conservation.

Designed and produced in the UK using the finest raw and recycled materials, all the brand’s garments are chemical-free. They are also produced in factories that get 100% of their electricity from renewable sources and use 100% carbon-neutral gas to minimise their carbon footprint.

Plus, every item Kookoo But Kind sells helps to buy land and reforest the planet through protected conservation partnerships.

Commenting is mother of three and founder of Kookoo But Kind, Anjelic Kumedzina. “It’s great to be back at John Lewis again. As a small independent brand, it’s fantastic to have a concession in these well-respected department stores and be exposed to new audiences, especially now the nation is returning to the high street. We’re absolutely thrilled to be part of the John Lewis Great British Pop Up. We are looking forward to popping up in more stores throughout the year.”

Kookoo But Kind forms part of the department store retailer’s Great British Pop-Up initiative. The initiative helps independent brands and makers increase brand awareness within the confines of a busy John Lewis store.

Kookoo But Kind is ‘popping up’ at John Lewis and Partners Oxford Street from 16-22 August 2021. Also, at John Lewis Oxford from 30 August until 5 September 2021.
