Visitors at Moda fashion Show stood in the aisles

Due to the global impact of the Coronavirus pandemic, Hyve Group has announced changes to its 2020 show calendar. The SS21 edition of Moda will no longer take place this September, with the fashion trade show returning on 7-9 February 2021 alongside retail show, Spring Fair.

Following the rescheduling of Hyve Group’s portfolio of London fashion shows, this decision has been taken to ensure that Moda retains its value. For the AW21 edition, Hyve Group will co-host Moda with its leading retail show, Spring Fair. A destination for over 50,000 retailers and 2,500 exhibitors, Spring Fair offers 16 edited show sectors.

Hyve is also launching a brand-new virtual forum exclusively for its fashion community.

The Fashion Together digital forum aims to unite the fashion industry and bring essential insights to audiences. Recognising the importance of connecting people as a crucial part of what the shows provide, the platform will offer an exclusive seminar programme and practical advice. Fashion Together takes place on 1-2 September 2020 and is open to fashion brands and buyers.

Commenting is Martin Arnold, Hyve fashion portfolio director. “After monitoring the situation, we have decided that Moda will not take place for its spring/summer edition this year.

“We carefully considered hosting Moda later this year; but after speaking with our customers, we feel that this would not provide the experience they have come to expect. However, we are excited to connect with our industry at Fashion Together, and look forward to welcoming everyone to Moda in February 2021.”

Moda will return to its home at the NEC, Birmingham to host its AW21 edition on 7-9 February 2021. Click here to visit Moda’s website.
