MORI, the baby essentials brand known for its soft fabrics and socially conscious approach to manufacturing, has launched a s/s 22 nursery range.

The collection includes a selection of 100% organic cotton fitted sheets for Moses baskets, cribs and cot beds in a choice of three unisex prints: Safari, Mustard Stripe and the brand new Sunshine print. The nursery collection also includes a reversible duvet set and signature baby blanket in the Safari print.

For parents on the go, MORI has two quilted travel changing mats in the collection. The foldable, envelope style mats are a convenient size for changing bags. They also feature a 100% organic cotton jersey shell (in a choice of Mustard Stripe or Sesame), a recycled polyester filling, and a wipeable PVC mat in the Sunshine print.

Other highlights include the Sunshine Baby Milestone Blanket with a large handstitched sun motif. The blanket has a detachable place marker to capture a baby’s development through the first year’s weeks and months. Similar to the rest of the nursery collection, the blanket uses 100% organic cotton percale with recycled polyester wadding.

Complementing the new nursery collection is MORI’s Playtime wooden toy range.

The toy range includes a Rainbow Stacker, Wooden Stacking Rings, Shape Sorter and a selection of teethers. It also features FSC beechwood and FSC MDF as well as non-toxic paints.

MORI has always led by example when it comes to its manufacturing ethos and choice of raw materials. The brand uses organic cotton for the nursery collection, not only for its softness, but because it is grown using methods that have a low environmental impact; namely without harmful chemicals, pesticides or fertilisers.

MORI is also very mindful of looking after the communities that make its products. It ensures the farmers, millers, cutters and makers who source the cotton are all treated and paid fairly and work in safe conditions, so they can support their families and communities.
