Notebook, pencil and glasses with NCWA laptop

The Childrenswear Association (NCWA) is set to unveil a new digital presence in early 2020. The launch will see the introduction of a fully-revamped and user-friendly website offering seamless navigation.

Providing responsive design to give users the optimum viewing experience across mobile, tablet and desktop devices, the new platform will include all of the Association’s latest news alongside informative videos and access to its social media feeds.

As previously, the website will also feature members’ pages, which include a description of each member’s business, brand or store images and full contact details. NCWA will be in contact with all members via email in order to update this information.

For further details regarding the new website or for membership enquiries, please contact enquiries@ncwa.co.uk.

About NCWA

Established over 75 years ago, the NCWA works with all levels of the childrenswear market. Its members include retailers, agents, distributors, suppliers and manufacturers, with associate membership also available to non-UK based organisations.

From giving expert advice and saving its members money to lobbying on the industry’s behalf and running briefings on all aspects of childrenswear; the NCWA sits at the heart of the sector.

The Association also campaigns strenuously on behalf of members. The most notable fight being to maintain the zero rate of VAT on childrenswear, a battle it is still winning. It has a personal side too, with the NCWA team always on hand to give advice or make introductions.

A very active, 18 strong Council of Management governs the NCWA, which comprises six agents, six retailers and also six manufacturers. The current chairman is Mark Barnett of Barnett Agencies.
