Alex Treanor opened children’s footwear and clothing store Ollie & Phee in 2016. Her inspiration for the business – and her love of working with kids – came following her re-training as a secondary school teacher after having children.

Ollie & Phee initially sold just footwear. However, it quickly branched out into children’s clothes and accessories. To develop the range further, the business recently moved to larger premises.

Brands stocked include Ricosta, Geox, Primigi, Petasil, Salt Water and Froddo. Also, Noel, Dr Martens, Bobux, Hatley, Babymel, Kite, Toby Tiger and Madpax.

Ollie & Phee also works closely with the community, supporting many local charities and school events.

Focuses for the business this year include a new ecommerce website. Also, potentially hosting children’s clothing parties and baby shower parties.

This year will also mark the retailer’s final staff member becoming a fully qualified fitter with The Society of Shoe Fitters, with all of the remaining senior staff already qualified.
