Baby and children’s footwear brand, Poco Nido, has unveiled its 2022 Summer Jungle Mighty Shoe collection, which includes new printed leather shoes. In a first for this range, the brand explores the rainforest with a range of printed leather shoes to sit alongside its palette of block colours.

Barefoot friendly and ideal for first steps, this collection in soft, supple leather showcases four block colour options. An additional four printed designs over seven different colourways feature across a classic T-bar, Mary Jane, strap and desert boot design.

To aid walking progress, the high flex and low-profile sole marriage mean first steps can connect properly with the ground. Suitable for daily use, the soft cow leather lining offers comfort. The TPU outsoles, meanwhile, provide youngsters with reliable durability.

Available in sizes EU 20-26, Mighty Shoes are also entirely unisex.

New this season is a fresh take on the ever-popular tan; a soft but strong crushed raspberry pink; calming, cool blue; and for those special occasions, an elegant cream. The tiger print comes in two colourways – a bright and bold Rainbow Tiger and a more subtle Tonal Tiger. Elsewhere, leopard prints come in three fun colours. Complementing these are the tree frog and chameleon prints.

Commenting on the launch of the new designs is brand founder, Catherine Lobley. “The printed Mighty Shoes are the next step on the ladder for us; it’s been a natural evolution. So many parents have requested them over the last two years. Now we’re thrilled to be able to launch them.”

A multi-award-winning brand, Poco Nido offers a wide range, including vegan, leather, printed leather, block colour and printed cotton styles. Founded originally in Sheffield by Catherine Lobley, the mother of two was looking to offer something high quality and a little different for the children’s footwear market.

After Brexit, the brand set up a new company in Ireland to ensure its future was secure. As a result, it is now proud to be called a European Brand. Poco Nido’s headquarters are in Ireland and it ships out globally from France. The brand’s next collaboration with Richard Scarry launches in 2023.
