Formerly Eco Baby Box, Devon Eco Boutique is a family-run store in Ottery St Mary, Devon, that caters for an eco-lifestyle for all ages. Along with a new name, the business recently acquired new, larger premises. Located in a prominent position in the same town, the bigger store – which opened in December – will allow owner Nicci Simpson to grow her range.
Described by customers as “homely, warm and inviting,” the spacious shop still offers the same award-winning collection for babies through to pre-schoolers, with the addition of gifts and some capsule wardrobe pieces and accessories for adults.
Devon Eco Boutique is also sourcing more from smaller independent brands in the UK, with 95% of the collection coming from UK businesses. Brands include Kite, Toby Tiger, Little Green Radicals, Ducky Zebra, MoonKids, Gumbies, Hemp & Hope, Dewerstone, Summit Crazy and Classic World.
Beyond retail, Devon Eco Boutique hosts in-store events such as baby massage classes. It is also joining the Hospiscare 40 Club, which sees businesses raise money to help enable Hospiscare to continue providing expert end of life and palliative care across Exeter, Mid and East Devon.
