Two kids in Smalls Merino underwear

Following Smalls Merino’s sixth annual Woolly Vest Week held earlier this year, the brand has made a significant donation to London-based charity, Little Village. Little Village helps local families to support one another during times of need.

The donation, which includes £3.5k of Smalls Merino garments for babies and children, comes at a time when countless families across the Capital need the charity more than ever.

Commenting is Smalls Merino’s co-founder, Emma-Jane Adam. “From the very beginning we’ve been dedicated to the mission to get British kids wearing woolly vests.

“For 2020, it was important for us to get as many children as possible to experience the benefits of wearing Merino, which is why donations to Little Village are so special. Smalls Merino is for everyone and everything; all wrapped up in one super sustainable, perfectly traceable, renewable wonder fabric.”

Smalls Merino, with its line of fine-spun 100% sustainable, fully traceable Merino wool essentials, unveiled several new additions for 2020.

These include an Ultimate Travel Kit for men, women, children and babies. Plus, a debut sock line developed in association with leading French hosier, Collegien. Finally, it also has a new Alpine White colourway and an exclusive collaboration with Brooklyn-based Oeuf NYC.

Adam, the brand’s co-founder alongside Catriona Pharo, a fellow New Zealand-born mother-of-three, continues: “Alongside building careers in the UK, we have built our families and now have three gorgeous kiddies each who are the inspiration for Smalls.

“As babies, our kiddies became addicted to the skin-loving miracle fibre that is superfine Merino. Wrapped up snug in Merino, they stayed warm in the cold British winters and cool in summer or indoors. The problem was that as our kiddies grew the ranges did not, so Smalls Merino was born.”
