Babies’ and children’s swimwear brand Splash About has received two Gold accolades in the 2020 MadeForMums parenting awards.

For the third consecutive year, the brand’s flagship swim-school approved swim nappy, the Happy Nappy, has been awarded Gold in the Best Family Travel Product under £15 category. Its UV Sun & Sea Suit also secured Gold in the Best Family Travel Product £15-£30.

“These awards are important to us. Not only because they are judged by parents who really put the products through their paces, but also the parenting industry’s critical experts.

“The family travel sector comprises of an immensely broad range of products. The criteria are not just based on travel-friendly products, but also quality, value, ease-of-use, durability, longevity and design. We are very proud to tick all these boxes. Since its redesign in 2017, the Happy Nappy has gone on to win Gold in 18 UK parenting awards.

The Happy Nappy’s features include a unique ergonomic shape and flexible but fitted gusset. It also has specialist pressure fabric ribbing at the waist and legs to protect against leaks.

The brand’s new UV Sun & Sea Wetsuit, meanwhile, is a combination of a supple neoprene body and soft flexible Nylon Lycra arm and side panels. It provides UPF50+ sun protection but also maintains core body warmth for longer play in or out of the water. Since its launch in summer 2019, it has also received Gold in the Mother & Baby awards for Best Travel Product under £30.
