The Insights People, a global leader in kids, parents and family market intelligence, has several new appointments and promotions to support the company’s global expansion.

With its launch into Latin America with Kids Insights Brazil and Kids Insights Mexico earlier this quarter, the company now surveys more than 3,000 children every week. Plus, its surveys are across nine continents and four countries, totalling more than 150,000 children a year.

The company, which has won numerous awards for its real-time portal, has significantly increased its tech resource with three appointments. Dan Lucas, who previously held the position of client technical director, becomes chief technology officer. Lucas’ promotion follows his instrumental role in helping the company to implement tech developments throughout the business. Former CTO Richard Craig also moves into a newly created position of chief data and information officer.

Juha Remes, meanwhile, joins the business as senior developer. Remes is taking a leading role in the development of several new tools to further enhance clients’ ability to view, filter, interrogate and analyse the data. Harrison Drew, the company’s IT support engineer, will maintain the computer systems, networks of the organisation and assist in enhancing the company’s scripting software.

Companies using The Insights Peoples’ market intelligence include the BBC, F1, Mattel, Pokémon, SEGA and Warner Bros.

Elsewhere, Tanya Sarakinis, who has an impressive track record in software business development, joins as US business developer director. Rob Legnar will also join the company later this month from Michael Page Recruitment. Legnar will take the role of European business development director as the company looks to further develop its international growth.

Further hires include Rajan Sundavadra who joins as a research executive; Jenny Ryan as office manager; and Dominic Holmes, who joins on an apprenticeship scheme as a junior content executive.

Commenting is Nick Richardson, CEO of The Insights People. “I am delighted to welcome so many talented individuals to our expanding business. It has been an extensive recruitment process, but one which means that we are best placed to serve the needs of our clients and continue to establish ourselves as the global leader in kids, parents, and family market intelligence.

“We are continuing to actively recruit for account management, developer and data scientists’ roles; all of which will be based in our Manchester headquarters”.
