Two young girls wearing Turtledove London clothing

Turtledove London’s a/w 21 collection is about rediscovering the joy of new growth and new beginnings; hoping to protect them for our children’s future. Time spent together brings a new appreciation of the people and places most dear to us. However, with uncertainty also comes an opportunity to reflect on our local environment with a renewed focus.

The mighty Oak tree provides welcome shade and climbing fun, its tiny acorns a reminder of growth and opportunity. Not only inspiring Turtledove London’s acorn colour pop and Little Acorn print, it also reflects the longevity of the brand’s garments.

Designed to grow with the child, the brand is offering more turn back sleeves and hems. This is alongside adjustable length straps and seasonless pieces for sustainable style. Meanwhile, reversible options offer two looks in one and subsequently less washing; two big ticks for the sustainable shopper.

Lucky to spend more time with our children is the inspiration behind both the brand’s Lucky and Little Legend logos.

Pet Hamster, Squeaks, also features across the collection for 0-8 yrs. Elsewhere, a global appreciation of mother nature inspires the new season’s colour pops – Eucalyptus, Conker, Acorn and Buff. Plus, all of the colours coordinate with past season collections; a great way to update an eco-conscious wardrobe.

Is Pluto still a planet? Now classified as a ‘dwarf planet’, Pluto is a fitting inspiration for the brand’s Little Things collection and features as a new print for organic sweat styles.

Closer to home, Turtledove London has been exploring local woods, with cute creatures all featuring as new motifs for 0-8 years. Bears, badgers, foxes and birds form prints and jacquards across the collection. Nature also inspires the fabrics and trims, while new ribs and jacquards bring texture in earthy tones. Wood effect buttons are also key.

New knitted blankets are also available. Made from GOTS certified organic cotton yarns, they co-ordinate with contemporary home styles. Generously sized, the blankets are ideal for baby gifts, toddler beds and beyond.

Following successful sales, the brand’s range of organic separates has increased too. The Forever Loved pieces are designed to trade the whole year through; coordinating with past, present and future collections. This season also sees the introduction of yarn-dyed stripes and new solid colours to layer up with patterned pieces.

Other key developments for Turtledove London this season includes rainwear.

The rainwear is made from eco-friendly fabric utilising plastic bottles destined for landfill. Each raincoat utilises 14 bottles. As well as being waterproof, the jackets are lined in GOTS certified organic cotton jersey. Three limited edition prints are available for boys and girls.
