Taking inspiration from the stillness of nature, A Moment of Calm is the new a/w 23 collection from Turtledove London.

New colour pops include Sea and Surf, and Ember and Sunrise. Buff is the warm shade of leaves between seasons alongside Snow, for the freshly fallen drift. The natural palette complements previous seasons’ pieces, maximising their longevity for both sellers and buyers.

Characters focus on animals preparing for winter and the patterns and textures they represent

 

 

Bears, snow leopards and birds feature on garments as they hibernate and migrate to warmer climates. The areas travelled are also highlighted in the Contours print on organic loopback sweat styles. The Scattered Dots print, meanwhile, reflects distant planets.

Texture is key for the season, with cosy eco fur as trims and garments reflecting animal pelts. Cord moves into both printed options and plains. Texture is also echoed in animal appliques in garments and trims throughout the collection.

The Forever Loved collection continues as bestsellers of the most loved styles to be worn through the seasons. A true reflection of the brand’s slow fashion credentials, these pieces can be layered up with new designs too.

 

 

New garment types include gilets for in-season layering and wide-leg cropped joggers, which work equally well with winter boots as summer sandals

Designs also work as shorter styles when a child grows taller, including dresses, skirts and adjustable strap dungarees. Plus, reversible styles give two looks in one and reduce the need for washing.
