Three children stood next to a large W logo wearing Whistles kidswear

Whistles has unveiled its debut kids’ collection for s/s 22. Inspired by on-rotation staples from the Whistles womenswear collection, the 44-piece unisex kidswear line works to keep children comfortable and cool during everyday adventures.

Catering for ages 3-9 years with the aim of enhancing play, the modern kidswear takes the same utilitarian, easy-wearing ethos the brand has become known for. Highlights include button-up workers’ jackets, jersey sweatshirts, joggers, T-shirts and relaxed-cut trousers.

Staples from the womenswear collection have been reinvented for children, including barrel-leg jeans available in three washes. Cotton dresses and shirts, meanwhile, feature fun details that turn them into style statements.

The understated colour palette includes white, blue and earthy tones for maximum wearability. To complement this there are also pops of lilac and green alongside a monster motif. Elsewhere, on-repeat sweatshirts feature fuzzy ‘W’ logos that tap into the collegiate trend. Furthermore, 95% of Whistles’ kidswear uses responsible materials.

The kidswear collection launches on 14 April exclusively online via the Whistles website.
