Online baby and toddler clothing store Millie and John has added five new brands to its offering in just one month. New names include a mixture of British, Spanish and Portuguese labels, two of which usually only stock bricks and mortar stores.
The five new brands include British label Sarah Louise, which supplies traditional hand smocked and embroidered designs. Sarah Louise usually only works with retailers that have a physical store.
Also, Spanish brands Paloma de la O and Nico Dingo, which design traditional Spanish clothing and knitwear. Plus, Portuguese brand A&J, which offers stylish knitwear and traditional clothing.
Finally, Millie and John is now also a stockist of the Spanish brand Tutto Piccolo; another brand that typically only stocks retailers with a physical store.
Commenting on the business’ growth is Ellie Grocock, CEO of Millie and John. “We’re so pleased to work with even more incredible brands and super proud that Sarah Louise and Tutto Piccolo have allowed us to stock their beautiful products, despite us being ecommerce only.”
Millie and John carries a wide selection of traditional babywear, with many of the new products fitting this style.
However, it will also be expanding by adding several more contemporary styles from some of the new brands. “We will always love and supply traditional baby clothing. However, we are excited that we can now bring in some more modern brands and items; this allows us to give our current customers more variety and also aim to a wider audience.”
Millie and John hand selects all of its designs and also has a bespoke service. As well as selling high-quality clothes and having a strong online presence, it has a team of over 30 brand reps who receive discounts, gifts and can earn a commission.
The family-owned business moved into its first commercial warehouse in May 2020 and is already having to relocate to a bigger warehouse due to its success.
