Award-winning luxury children’s footwear brand, Young Soles, is growing its operations in the USA as demand for its retro-cool footwear increases. The Young Soles management team has expanded its operations in America following its incorporation as Young Soles Inc late last year.

Since incorporation, the brand has engaged a warehouse in St Louis and implemented a fully integrated EDI system. It also has a dedicated USA ecommerce website launching this month.

Furthermore, the expansion includes the appointment of experienced fashion sales consultant, Diane Hudson.

Hudson, national sales manager for Young Soles, has offices in California and is currently appointing regional sales representation. Commenting on the developments she says; “We are very excited by the investment and commitment that Young Soles are showing to the USA children’s footwear market.

“The USA is not a country that you can manage at arm’s length. I am very excited to be leading the team to make Young Soles as big a success this side of the Atlantic as it is everywhere else.”

Young Soles CEO and president, Stuart Anderson, adds; “Since our inception seven years ago, we have sold to retailers in the USA. However, it has never been a market that we have had the time or resources to fully commit to.

“Now, as a part of our continuing global growth strategy, we have laid the foundations to give the USA market the attention it needs to make Young Soles a success.”

Young Soles Inc already has some exciting retailers lined up to join the already strong presence the brand has in the USA market.

Young Soles brings British heritage and contemporary styling to children’s shoes. All of its retro-cool footwear stays true to its ethos of evoking childhood memories. Acknowledging childhood trends and borrowing from memories, music or a style movement, the brand takes inspiration from many sources.

Young Soles is designed in East London and made in Europe using the highest quality materials. With shoes, boots and sandals for babies through to teens, all of its designs focus on features most important to children’s footwear.

For example, lasts that follow the shape of the foot with a wide toe and narrow heel. Also, comfortable soft leather uppers and linings that allow the upper to mould to the contours of the foot. Furthermore, all styles feature a lightweight and flexible outsole for growing, stylish feet.
