Automobili Lamborghini has signed a licensing agreement with Danish kidswear specialist Kabooki for the production and distribution of an Automobili Lamborghini kidswear collection.

The partnership starts with the a/w 20 collection, which is being presented in Italy, Scandinavia, Germany, Austria, the UK and the US. The aim of the range is to allow children to get a taste of the world-famous brand through kids’ apparel. Also, to inspire children to aspire.

The dynamic collection offers a top-to-toe range targeting 4 to 14 years.

“Since the design is so essential, we started searching for the right design profile,” says Christopher Silcowitz, CEO at Kabooki. “An international profile that could interpret all details from the cars into the clothes; such as the iconic Y-shape, the hexagon shapes and the little details that all Lamborghini connoisseurs can spot immediately.

“Designing the first collection has been in close cooperation with Lamborghini,” he continues. “We are happy with the first reactions from buyers so far.”

Content creation and storytelling is an important part of the brand building.

Also commenting is Katia Bassi, chief marketing and communication officer at Automobili Lamborghini. “We are very pleased with the results of our first collection with Kabooki. We see our brand DNA clearly interpreted in the right way through this range.

“Lamborghini is a young brand and this licensing agreement is another step in our mission to be part of the kids’ world. Our brand is for real lovers of Lamborghini and we want this passion to start from childhood.”

The a/w 20 collection will be available in August in the aforementioned markets. Also, via Automobili Lamborghini’s official online shop.
