Purpose-led casualwear label, That Gorilla Brand, is launching its 2021 collection with organic fabrics, new colourways and a ‘Do good, wear good’ mantra for all the family.

Founded in 2018 and launched in the UK last year, That Gorilla Brand has one mission; to create something bigger than a fashion brand. Valuing uniqueness, quality and design over profit, its purpose is to make a positive impact on the world. It does this through a partnership with The Gorilla Organization; a critical partnership that supports charity projects in Uganda.

The Gorilla Organization is devoted exclusively to the conservation of the world’s gorillas. It works tirelessly to protect the ape and its habitat through projects of community-led conservation.

The 2021 childrenswear, womenswear and menswear collections feature new colourways, styles and an evolution of the brand’s most popular items.

Highlights include the introduction of Biscay Green and Tangerine Tango colourways. These feature across relaxed T-shirts, hoodies and joggers as well as an accessories collection of caps and bags.

In April, the collection will also see the launch of a charity and student initiative supporting emerging art and design talent. The new charity design initiative debuts with ‘Emerging T’, a colourful Gorilla print T-shirt designed by Ana Hirschmann, this year’s competition winner.

Rolling out annually, the design competition will see students win a £3,000 grant towards their studies or design collections, with a new school supported each year. One hundred per cent of Emerging T profits will go to That Gorilla Organization. Free shipping with every Emerging T will also be available to encourage sales to support the charity.
