This month, dotte is celebrating its second birthday with the introduction of its first app on 14 November. Coinciding with the app launch is a new brand image for the childrenswear marketplace, which is set to expand the service offering even further and make it easier for dotte’s community to resell, donate and recycle.

Dotte goes beyond peer-to-peer buying and selling by offering its community donation and recycling options. The marketplace bolsters this offering with curated edits and style guides.

This is alongside brand collaborations with leading UK childrenswear retailers via the ‘Resale Collective’, which features perks and discounts from brands including M&S and Clarks to make shopping second-hand feel like new.

Every year, over 183 million items of children’s clothing end up in landfill in the UK alone. Dotte is on a mission to slow down the fastest part of fashion –  childrenswear – and turn its marketplace into a movement that offers savings for parents’ pockets whilst also helping protect the planet.
