Sustainable kids’ clothing brand, Ducky Zebra, will be returning to INDX Kids in January after a year of growth and industry recognition. Whilst still a relatively new brand, this year marks significant recognition for Ducky Zebra. It recently won Gold for Best Unisex Fashion Collection in the Junior Design Awards and was the winner of Blenheim Palace’s 2023 Start-up Competition.
It also received Highly Commended for the Most Socially Minded Organisation by OxLEP Business, as well as winning a stand at the Spring Fair 2024 after being selected as one of 12 winners by Spring Fair and Dragon’s Den’s Theo Pathitis’ SBS.
The brand creates colourful, sustainable clothes for babies and children up to 6 years old. Free from stereotypes, the brand’s collections aim to inspire kindness and confidence in those who wear them. All items also include an embroidered splash ‘power button’, often hidden inside a pocket, which acts as a reminder to be kind and confident even at times when this might be hard.
Ducky Zebra designs its items to last and pass.
As part of its commitment to slow fashion, Ducky Zebra looks at how it can extend the life cycle of its clothes. The brand’s pre-loved programme allows customers to return old Ducky Zebra clothing, which it then passes on to the Oxford Baby Bank for re-use. It also has strong links with Borro, thelittleloop and My Little Wardrobe, allowing customers to rent its clothes in the UK and Ireland.
Commenting is Sally Dear, founder and CEO of Ducky Zebra. “We’re delighted to be returning to INDX Kids in January with our sustainable, fun and stereotype-free clothing. Building strong relationships with our stockists is really important to us, so we value the friendly format of the show, which allows us to catch up with existing customers while also making new connections. Do pop by and say hello if you’re visiting.”
