Children playing outside with a young girl in a wheelchair wearing Little Green Radicals adaptive clothing

Ethical children’s clothing brand Little Green Radicals has launched an adaptive collection in collaboration with disability organisation Purple Tuesday. The collection uses 100% GOTS certified organic and Fairtrade cotton and features Little Green Radicals’ signature bright and bold style for children aged 18 months to 8 years. It is available exclusively via johnlewis.com, littlegreenradicals.com and ethical shopping hub babipur.com.

Little Green Radicals was inspired to launch the collection after being approached by a parent looking for colourful, functional, organic clothing for her disabled daughter. In collaboration with parents from the community and Purple Tuesday, Little Green Radicals created a collection with additional features added to existing designs. For example, easy access for tube feeding and nappy changing. Also, flat seams and printed labels for sensitive skin, plus adapted sizing for extra comfort.

Commenting is Nick Pecorelli, founder of Little Green Radicals.

“Little Green Radicals is a pioneering ethical brand and we have always prided ourselves in doing what we can to be inclusive. I’m delighted that by providing a great choice for children who too often have very little, this amazing adaptive range takes us another step forward on our journey to inclusivity.”

Also commenting is James Houlihan, Business Development Executive at Purple Tuesday. “We were so pleased to work with Little Green Radicals on this project to help make its range more inclusive to children with disabilities. It’s great for both the parents and children to have more options and a broader range of adaptive clothes, especially ones which are affordable, organic and Fairtrade.”
