Launching this season, Luca and Rosa is a new sleepwear, bedding and loungewear brand for babies and children. There are also some matching pieces for women, too.
The collection has been designed in England in an eye-catching range of prints. It features only organic, ethically sourced and sustainable fabrics, with a healthy dose of Italian style courtesy of founder Sabrina Burns’ Italian roots.
After having her youngest child, Rosa, Burns was inspired to create a fun and playful range of matching sleepwear and bedding to reflect her children’s personalities. For this reason, the brand is named after her children, who are represented by the two little ducks logo.
“My father was Italian, which is why it was important for me to inject an element of my heritage in the designs,” she explains. “I believe we have achieved this through our meticulous attention to detail and the inclusion of matching sets, which is a very Italian look.
“We believe in sustainability and creating a better tomorrow for our children. Our fabrics have all been specially chosen to not only be kind to the planet but also hard-wearing, practical and can be passed down to siblings.”
Luca and Rosa offers contemporary yet timeless pieces.
The brand is available for babies from 0-3 months to 18-24 months and for children from 1-8 years. Prints include Busy Bees and Lemon Grove for older children and Little Ducks for babies.
The collection for babies comprises a 2-pack of bibs; 2-pack of dribble bibs; 2-pack of cotton vests; a baby blanket; sleepsuit and a cot set.
Sleepwear for kids, meanwhile, includes cotton buttoned PJs and cotton jersey PJs with a matching plush dressing gown. Bedding includes a single fitted sheet, duvet cover and pillowcase set. There is also a luxury bedding set featuring a fitted sheet, pillowcase and duvet cover presented in a branded jersey bag.
The brand’s loungewear offer has pieces for both boys and girls as well as a gender-neutral option. Highlights including hoodies, joggers and T-shirts as well as matching sets for mum.
