A mother and child wearing MORI reusable face masks

MORI, creators of clothing for babies, toddlers and children, has launched sustainably sourced reusable face masks to help safeguard families against the threat of Covid-19. As advised by the UK government, the breathable non-medical face masks should be used when it is difficult to keep a safe distance from others.

The masks feature MORI’s signature fabric, which is a blend of bamboo (70%) and organic cotton (30%). The reusable face masks have also been created with sustainability and safety in mind. This means using no harmful chemicals and production taking place in trusted factories with fair and safe working conditions.

MORI’s organic cotton is grown using low environmental impact methods with no harmful chemicals, pesticides or fertilizers. The farmers, millers, cutters and makers MORI uses are all treated and paid fairly; working in safe conditions so they can support their families and communities.

Production of MORI’s bamboo from viscose uses a closed-loop process. No chemicals enter the waste stream and sourcing is from sustainable raw materials. This makes the MORI fabric much less harmful to the planet than conventionally produced cotton or oil-based synthetics like polyester.

Two elastic straps to loop over each ear enable the mask to wrap around the chin and cover the mouth and nose.

The masks are available in five different prints. There are two size options for adults and one size for children age two years upwards. The MORI face masks retail from £8.50 each or from £22.50 for a three-pack and are available to purchase here.

MORI, along with its customers, has also been proudly supporting frontline NHS parents across the UK. The brand recently launched its ‘helping NHS parents sleep better’ campaign, which went viral overnight.

Since then, MORI has gifted thousands of sleepsuits and pyjamas to the children of NHS parents. It is now also offering a special 20% sitewide discount for those working in the NHS. Visit babymori.com to use code NHS20 at checkout along with a valid NHS email address.
