N21 Kids opens pop-up store at Harrods

N21, the fashion brand created and directed by Alessandro Dell’Acqua, has launched a kidswear pop-up store at Harrods. Located on Harrods’ 4th Floor, the 29 sq m pop-up will remain open until early October 2019.

The temporary store will showcase N21 Kids’ colourful and urban a/w 19 collection. The brand’s dynamic aesthetic balances elegance with contemporary style and comprises a range of ready-to-wear accessories for boys and girls age 4 to 14 years.

The collection for girls includes chic, modern pieces that take inspiration from the refined style of their mothers.

Fun is at the core of the girls’ collection, which includes rock’n’roll vibes. Red and black leopard prints add a strong edge to N21’s iconic pieces. These include maxi hoodies, retro sport tracksuits and bombers combined with comfy jeans and contrast pocket dresses.

Elsewhere, pop accents feature on the black-on-pink star prints that add a graphic touch to piping-embellished shirts. There are also pleated skirts paired with ruche-trimmed stripe blouses and poplin polo dresses with stylish, yet simple yokes.

Mini-Me pieces form part of the a/w 19 collection.

Highlights include the iconic tie-dye print embraced by Alessandro Dell’Acqua in his s/s 19 women’s collection, which returns this season for kids. The print features on both maxi logo sweatshirts and dresses with over-sized, romantic bows.

Mini-Me pieces also feature in the collection for boys thanks to prints capturing a fanciful image of the ‘American Dream’.

The prints create a strong, graphic statement on sweatshirts, cotton shirts and tracksuits. A stars & stripes theme also characterises check jackets with sheepskin detailing as well as the tartan plaid shirts with logo embroidery. Meanwhile, a 50s feel features in the maxi checkboard knits.

The N21 pop-up is the result of a new partnership with Brave Kid, part of OTB group, which is a worldwide leader in the production and distribution of childrenswear. The pop-up is part of a wider plan of temporary stores dedicated to the new a/w 19 N21 Kids collection.
