The Magic Touch, which provides image transfer solutions for garment decorators involved in the schoolwear and sportswear markets, has launched a Soft Metallic Flex.

The latest addition joins the company’s extensive range of Flex, Flock, Glitter, Reflective, Holographic and Foil products; all part of the established MagiCut brand.

The new Soft Metallic product ticks all of the boxes for those looking to decorate a vast range of different garments and textiles with a soft metallic feel.

The market for personalised and short-run garment decoration has never been stronger.

After two years in development, Soft Metallic offers easy cutting and weeding using traditional plotter/cutters. With its lightweight (62 Micron) high elastic properties, precise designs and detailing are easy to produce. As well as a high-quality look and feel, it offers potential for sportswear, fashion, promotional, workwear and craft markets.

Soft Metallic is ideal for cotton, polyester, poly/cotton blends and also performance fabrics that require that extra stretch flexibility from the transfer. The Soft Metallic transfers are applied at 150°c for 10 seconds, medium pressure, and peeled cold.

The product is available by the metre in 500mm roll width format in nine colour options. It is also available in the UK from Ralawise and Pencarrie as part of its new 2021 product offering.
