BIBS

BIBS, the fast-growing premium Danish baby brand established in 1978, has a new UK and Irish subsidiary. Heading it up is Myalee Sofield, UK & Ireland Country Manager, who has over 30 years’ sales expertise. Also, Nina Sivyer, UK & Ireland Sales Manager, after parting ways with her former UK distributor.

BIBS offers a wide range of baby essentials, with each available in a selection of carefully crafted designs and a variety of colours. Each piece is made with the highest regard for materials, functionality, safety and the environment.

The rapidly expanding BIBS collection, now available to the UK and Irish markets, not only includes the brand’s iconic pacifiers, but innovative baby bites, paci braids, loops, bibs, and muslin cloths and swaddles. BIBS also has infant bedding and other new collections coming very soon.

The BIBS range will shortly be available on a new UK and Irish B2B website due to launch in January.

Commenting is UK & Ireland Country Manager, Myalee Sofield. “I’m thrilled to be heading up such a fantastic brand. The baby products produced by BIBS are second to none and the response and early sell through already from key retailers has been fantastic. Not only is the brand extremely ethical in the way they manufacture, but the quality and make of the products are some of the best on the market. I look forward to servicing our key partners in the UK and Ireland and growing the brand.”

Henrik Larsen, founder and CEO of BIBS, adds; “Setting up a full subsidiary in the UK and Ireland shows our commitment to these markets. Early response to our products has been extremely positive and we look forward to growing the product categories and brand in these very key markets. We’re thrilled to have appointed Myalee Sofield and Nina Sivyer, both of whom have great brand and sales experience. I am excited to see what 2022 brings.”

The brand designs all collections at its headquarters in Nordhavn, Denmark.

It then produces them at its factory in Hillerød using the latest technology and energy-saving equipment. When producing other collections, BIBS ensures to select the best possible suppliers, which must comply with BIBS’ high quality and environmental standards.

BIBS offers a range of pacifiers with the latest executions, including tie-dye and glow-in-the-dark. The 100% BPA free pacifiers cover all nipple types and are available in two different materials; natural rubber latex and silicone. They are also certified to conform to the EU directive relating to safety, health and environment (Pacifier Safety requirements by European standard EN 1400+A2).

The brand embraces a passionate, creative mindset and strives to be forward-thinking in aesthetic design, quality and sustainability.

Commenting is Henrik Larsen, BIBS CEO. “At BIBS, we are highly committed to minimizing our impact on the environment. We want to offer ethically produced and sustainable products that help protect our planet. Our brand promise is to become greener in everything we do. Our children will inherit the Earth and we want to actively secure it for generations to come.”
