Luxury baby brand The Little Tailor is celebrating 10 years of trading in 2023. With a wealth of experience in fashion and retail, friends Jane and Kate decided to set up on their own in 2013.
The idea was, and still is, to create timeless, heirloom, high-quality babywear pieces that can be treasured and passed down to family and friends. The Little Tailor now offers an extensive range of babywear, from sleepsuits and rompers to knitted blankets and pramsuits. There is also a wide range of luxury baby gift sets.
Fast forward 10 years and many, many hours of hard work, the brand is now stronger than ever and can be found in Selfridges stores, Next Label online, John Lewis online and Childrensalon. The Little Tailor also has a strong presence in independent boutiques throughout the UK, as well as selling direct to consumers via its website.
To mark its 10th anniversary, The Little Tailor has launched a new contemporary design to its babywear range. Featuring delicate woodland and hare, it is available in a wide selection of new, summery silhouettes in cotton muslin fabric. The pattern designs are true to The Little Tailor colour palettes, offering soft pinks, blue hues, putty-coloured creams and fawny greys.
Within this design, The Little Tailor has also expanded its range to include key nursery, changing and feeding items for the first time.
Pieces include baby sleeping bags, quilted bedspreads, cot sheets, large muslin blankets, four-pack muslin squares, and travel change mats. This diversification complements the brand’s baby clothing and allows customers to bring The Little Tailor style into the everyday needs of a baby’s life.
Additionally, The Little Tailor has launched a new website to mark its anniversary, which showcases the new designs and products for 2023. As well as improved navigation for consumers, the site offers online discounts when purchasing multiple items from the new range –the ‘Bundles of Joy’ offer.
Commenting on The Little Tailor’s 10th anniversary is company director, Kate Bale. “As we come to our 10th anniversary we are really proud of how far we have come. Still full of ideas of what to design next and bring to our customers, and there is still so much more to learn. But, we are super excited and thankful to still be here, stronger than ever.”
