Child's green was jacket by TRoy London and Trotters Childresnwear

Luxury outerwear brand Troy London has joined forces with childrenswear brand Trotters to launch a debut collection of children’s jackets. The two British brands have developed a mini version of Troy London’s bestselling wax jacket. Launching in both navy blue and green, the mini replicas of Troy London’s adult wax jackets mean parents can now twin with their children.

Made from naturally water-resistant wax cotton, the jackets are milled in England and include pockets fastened with branded poppers. Trimmed with a Liberty London fabric, they also feature a playful pop of colour at the zip. For 100% waterproof protection, they are lined with a technical, breathable membrane that is seam sealed.

Launching with a limited edition first run, the jackets are not only practical and versatile but sustainably produced too

Producing high-quality garments using luxury fabrics and materials is of paramount importance to both Troy London and Trotters. Subsequently, both brands have made it their mission to deliver children’s jackets that will last a long time, wash well and can be handed down to family and friends.

The Troy London x Trotters collaboration champions these sustainable values and celebrates true British craftsmanship, utilising some of England’s finest manufacturers. Available in sizes 2-3, 4-5, 6-7, 8-9 and 10-11 years, the jackets will launch on both the Troy London website and the Trotters website as well as in-store and at Liberty London.

Commenting is Troy London’s Rosie van Cutsem. “I have always loved the King’s Road Trotters store as the iconic home of beautiful children’s clothing and experiences, whether finding those first school shoes to the very first haircut.

“As such, it was a dream to collaborate with their experienced team to launch Troy’s first children’s jacket that is at once charming, nostalgic but very importantly, superior quality, comfortable and hardwearing, so it can be passed on and enjoyed by many little adventurers over the years.”

Also commenting is Sophie Mirman, founder of Trotters

“Our collaboration with Troy is a project we are very excited about. Their brand and their team are in perfect synergy with Trotters. When we consider any collaboration, it is important that their values and aesthetics align with ours. The jackets in this collection are the perfect example of the success that can be had when two independent British brands support each other, doing what they each do best.

“From the responsible sourcing of materials to finding the perfect fit, we look forward to seeing our children’s wax jackets worn by your little ones in the coming month. Working with Troy has been a wonderful experience of not only developing a new product but also the beginning of a wonderful partnership.”
