Seffie Wells, founder and CEO of baby brand Aidie London and also The Aidie Trust charity, has been named one of the UK’s top 100 female entrepreneurs in the f:entrepreneur #ialso programme.

Small business enterprise expert Michelle Ovens MBE, who runs Small Business Britain, set up the f:entrepreneur Campaign. The initiative is part of Small Business Britain’s female entrepreneur annual campaign and celebrates the dynamic and inspirational businesses led by women in the UK.

Launched on International Women’s Day 2017, f:entrepreneur helps provide more recognition for the women who run so many businesses in the UK. Through events, content and story-telling, it showcases role models to help and inspire all small businesses.

Wells launched sustainable luxury British baby brand, Aidie London, in March 2018.

The multi-award-winning brand makes the world’s only children’s footwear range developed by infant developmental psychologists to enhance cognitive function in babies.

Furthermore, its first walker collection has the endorsement of leading London podiatrists. The brand has also won a host of awards in both the UK baby and international design industry; securing its 30th accolade in November 2020.

Meanwhile, The Aidie Trust is a charity Wells established in October. The charity works alongside women’s shelters across the UK; distributing care packs, baby essentials and grants to women who have fled domestic abuse with their babies.

The f:entrepreneur campaign usually culminates with an event at the House of Lords. However, due to the pandemic, the event will not take place this year. For further information on the campaign, please click here.
