Premium, technical and sustainable outdoor kidswear brand, Isbjörn of Sweden, has appointed Sandra Nielsen as ecommerce manager. Nielsen will join the company’s growing team at its headquarters in Stockholm.

The appointment comes as Isbjörn experiences strong growth in online sales, with its webshop growing by 150% year-over-year in 2020.

Nielsen’s role will include strengthening the company’s focus on direct-to-consumer sales. She will also manage digital analysis and daily ecommerce operations. Plus, website development and coordinating with Isbjörn’s digital partners, including social influencers.

Commenting on her new role, Nielsen says; “My love of the outdoors – especially skiing – and embracing challenges and finding solutions will serve me very well in my new role at Isbjörn.

Nielsen’s previous experience includes online merchandising, managing projects and budgets, and meeting expected goals and KPIs.

Isbjörn has already benefited from recent digital investment. Its webshop’s innovative AI chatbot Bernard, for instance, helps to reduce online returns by 50%. Nielsen’s appointment will now help to build future digital innovation and success.
